The show has been based on the book by Frida Nilsson “My Mum – the Gorilla”. It is dedicated to children and adults and starts the discussion about alterity and tolerance – the themes that concern the visible and invisible problems in our lives. Intolerance, the lack of sensibility, narrow mind and arrogance reinforce the schemes in our thinking and make the way we assess the reality superficial.
The authors of the play hope to encourage viewers to reassess their first impressions, to analyze things in a more detailed way and to reflect on them.
