The book concerns the remarkable presence of Czech and Slovak creators in Polish puppet theatre in the 20th and the 21stcentury. The main questions are related to the mixing of influences and inspirations of Czech, Slovak and Polish puppet theatre. There is also a question if or to what extent the significant presence of Czech and Slovak authors in Polish theatre is the result of the weakening condition of polish theatre, open borders, the sense of cultural community in the United Europe or, perhaps, the permanent cultural fluctuation connected with geographical and historical proximity of our nations.

The book got the award of the Slovak “UNIMA” centre in the field of theatre studies, Bańska Bystrzyca 2016.
