I was several time to ANIMO festival. It's a long trip to reach a place so far from home; but possibly is a place where I can feel at home. It's nice to meet the same people there, the same nice atmosphere. It's nice to meet new people that, in such a friendly situation, you immediately know as new friends. It's the ideal situation to stage a show, because you know you want it to be at its best, for the friends in the audience.

Even food is always the same all the time: every day of every festival, you know you'll never miss your appointment with potatoes, ham, and pink tea… this is the only topic where I'd put some innovation, day by day ;-)

ANIMO is not only a good opportunity to share our art but also visit to old friends... It's the coziest and craziest festival we have ever been to!

I so enjoyed performing at the ANIMO Festival in 2008! The work I saw was inspiring and the entire team and other performers made me feel wonderfully welcome and like I was part of the family. I cherish the memory to my time there and look forward to my opportunity!

I have good memories from the Festival, the apartment was very fine and the technicians very good. (one of them was musician and we listen his CD when we come back home) It could have been nice to have a little scene and lights  for shorts shows or music live in the place where we were eating and meeting.

All the best for your next Festival, I would be glad to come back in 2016!

We were extremely happy about the festival, and the audience received very well our performance. Your staff is great as your programming choices. You as Director were very friendly to us  we had good moments ;) such as the last night party at your office ;)

The ANIMO Festival is the best Polish Puppet Theatre Festival for us! The programme is ambitious, interesting and of a high artistic quality! The team is professional but warmhearted, the organization reliable, and we had the fastest set up with the smallest amount of technicians (1!) - it was very effective and very much fun to set up like this. We can only say Thank You for having us there with our performances!

We would love to come again - this year unfortunately we are not free. But we hope for another time!

Being at Kwidzyn ANIMO Festival 2014 instilled in us a renewed faith in human-ness and that theatre is a universal language.  You guys are doing a beautiful thing over there and we feel so, so lucky to have been able to be part of it; we returned to New York City exhausted and inspired.

The work that you are doing at the ANIMO Festival is truly an important environment for artists, not to mention how well you all took care of us; it made it hard to leave. We enjoyed the ANIMO big family experience; it was warm and friendly and definitely a good learning platform to interact with other artists and people from Poland and all over the world.

Your wine was great. A festive meal you have done at the end of the festival was fantastic. We've done wonderful trip cathedral was an extraordinary experience. The place you chosen to hold the festival was magical and mesmerizing.

A Professional and quality Festival I will never forget the experience! Of all places I had been invited to perform with "Little Amadeus" show your festival I always remember.

To me the ANIMO Festival is The Festival, the ultimate one, is what I wish all the festival were... warm welcoming, family feeling, lots of sharing at different levels, lots of laughs, attention to details, daily home made bread and sweets, beers and dancing.

What really surprises me are the number of volunteers (many!!!) which work very very hard and never seems to argue, not even out of tiredness. A lovely festival

ANIMO was our very first festival in Europe with The Orphan Circus! How exciting it was to play in a fortresses -cathedral, to drink at the great festival bar under the vaults, and to be helped by an incredible team of happy technicians!  We had a great time. It was also the first European festival of our little boy Elias (5 months old ). Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience, the fantastic memories! We are dreaming of coming back to Kwidzyn with our new show.

Our Puppet Theatre Company is a professional one since 1995 and has participated in many festivals all over the world. We have collaborated with many organizations and people but there are some of them that have made a great impression to us. ANIMO Festival in Kwidzyn is one of them.

We have participated in ANIMO two times with two different shows. We had the chance to be in Kwidzyn during all the days of the festival, so we know how the people of the organization think and work concerning the festival and their own professional theatre vision also. They are fully organized providing all the practical and technical matters, so as the artists easily set up for their shows, having in their disposal all they need, plus technicians helping for the performances to be shown in perfection.

Moreover, they provide artists with the great chance to meet each other and have an artistic exchange of their work and thoughts on their art, something which is special because no all the festivals do so. They give artists and people of the theatre art field the chance to make a network, so their work could be known in other cities and festivals also.

What is more impressive for us in ANIMO festival is the workshops they organize during the festival, except for the performances. The workshops are made by high level professionals giving the opportunity to the people of Kwidzyn to get motivation and inspiration by having a first taste in many and various fields of art. Puppet construction, puppet manipulation, dance and theatre are only some to mention, at the two times we were invited by the festival.

They always invite famous in our art field theatre companies whose their work is worthy, inspiring and difficult for Kwidzyn people to see if not in their own city, during the ANIMO festival. It is also good to mention that they invite theatre companies with various backgrounds and philosophy, from very contemporary theatre with fresh ideas to very good puppeteers with great technique in puppetry art.

Finally, we were impressed by their own theatre works both of the times. The festival director's vision – Dorota Anna Dabek – to give the chance to the young people of a small city such as Kwidzyn (without theatre academies) to make a theatre company and to teach them the theatre art in such professional way was far beyond admiration for just one people to make such and achievement. We had the chance to attend the theatre work of the company during the festival 2015 and was even more professional from many real professionals!

To the conclusion the existence of such a festival in Kwidzyn (inviting the most fresh, pioneer and well-know works from artists all over the world together with the workshops) which is equal to many good and famous festivals in big cities, is something that should go on and be even bigger in duration and happenings in the future.

Finally the festival people are so nice that made us feel very happy with our participation in the festival and our being in Kwidzyn. Their hospitality and energy is also important to mention because then the artists give their best and have a really good impression from the people and the whole city. Wish them the best for their future projects because their work is real worthy and we are sure that to be Kwidzyn and ANIMO festival well known all over the world is only a matter of little time.
