If the common winter damselfly- a common species of insect related to dragonflies -we can meet on lakes or river banks, common boggards can be met almost everywhere: bigger or smaller, lurking in the daylight or in the dark, felt by younger or older people. Where do the boggards come from?
How do they act? Why are we scared?
Grupa Coincidentia deals with these questions in their latest spectacle. They invite young viewers (aged 7 and older) to a peculiar lab of fear to discover its essence together. This wild journey to the inside of human mind, strange dreams , folk storiesand fairy tales is realised with the use of fantasy collage and theatre experiments. The artists act out the fear’s mode of action playing with the dramatic convention and form, using improvisation and basing on scientific, thespian or authentic texts and children’s stories.
