In  ontrast to previous exhibitions presenting mostly abstract art, in this paintings we can see also some realistic elements close to surrealism or symbolism. Every painting creates its own story, but the stories just like in real life, ask more questions than give answers. For instance, a pink house surrounded by black lakes in an empty, indefinite place.

What is this place? Who lives there? Is there another house on the other side of the lake?

Aga Szczepańska was born in 1981 in Bydgoszcz (Poland).She is a visual artist, stage and graphic designer. She studied alternative and puppet theatre stage designing on “Akademia Sztuk- DAMU ”(Art Academy) in Prague. At present, the artist works on designing and paintings.
